For a supposed digital journalist, I’m fairly late to the blogging game. I did have a number of angsty tumblr blogs some years ago, but hopefully this one will stand the test of time.
My name’s Doug Bolton, and I’m a 21 year old journalist. I’m currently doing the Interactive Journalism MA at City University, and reporting from Highbury West.
I’m originally from Darlington, but escaped to do an English BA at The University of Liverpool. Betraying my Northern roots entirely, I moved to London in September 2014.
Over the next year or so, this blog will be a place for me to reflect on the course, write about the industry, and publish some of my assignments. Bet you can’t wait.
